You, the patient, are the most important team member. You are the reason we are here. We expect you to participate with us, not only by been compliant but also by participating in decision making. Together we can decide what is the best treatment and care plan for you. Your feedback is needed and appreciated. We will also need your assistance in following the office procedures.
The doctor, Maria C. Ramirez, MD, has been in practice for over 20 years and has extensive neurological experience. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she completed medical school in 1985. She then moved to Boston, MA to undergo Neurological training. She has resided in Texas for the last 16 years. For more on Dr. Ramirez check "Dr. Maria C. Ramirez" section.
The office staff is headed by Francisco Javier Rodriguez, CMOM, CMIS, CMC. Mr. Rodriguez has a background in Medicine and is native of Salvatierra, Mexico. He has been a Texas resident for over 15 years. He has achieved the honor of triple certifications (CMOM, CMIS, CMC) by Practice Management Institute.
Bon Mendoza, MBA, CMOM, is the Assistant Administrator and the Neurophysiology Lead Technician. Luis Escudero, MA, is a neurophysiology technician and a medical records specialist. Monica C. Romo, MA, works with patient's insurance verification and patient care. Shawna Monks, MA, works with patient care and also is our transcriptionist. Regardless of which staff answers the phone, you will notice their great disposition to assist patients with their needs.
