Dr. Maria Ramirez(-Nieto)
Dr Ramirez received her MD degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1985. She has been in practice for over 20 years. She completed her Neurology Training and Behavioral Neurology Fellowship at Boston University, Department of Neurology in 1990. She had additional training in epilepsy thru a mini-fellowship at Bowman-Gray University in North Carolina. She is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Ramirez enjoys working with all types of Neurological patients and has pursued continued education in Headaches, Neuromuscular Diseases, and Parkinson's disease just to name a few. She has been named Houston Top Doctor by H Magazine in 2004, 2010 and 2011.
She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and is the Medical Director of the clinic.
On her spare time Dr Ramirez enjoys activities with her husband and children.
Dr Ramirez will be taking a leave of absence starting December 10, 2011 thru June 30, 2012

Dr. Sadia Yasser
Sadia Yasser, MD, joined our practice in May 2010. She attended medical school in Pakistan and obtained her neurology training in Oklahoma. She is fellowship trained in Neurophysiology, and received her training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She speaks Pashto, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
